the project
This renovation focused on reviving an Edwardian home that had lost its brightness and character over time.
The clients wanted to retain the property's period charm while creating a lighter, more welcoming interior.
We restored key heritage features such as original covings, skirting boards, and dado rails, preserving the craftsmanship that defines the house. On the ground floor, the original patio tiles were carefully repaired, while new tiles were introduced on the landing to subtly reference the original design.
The result is a carefully balanced interior that respects the building’s past while offering a refreshed, lived-in atmosphere fit for modern life.
